A Conversation with Jeremy

What would you tell a student who is thinking about attending A&M-Commerce?

If you're looking for an institution where people get to know you and where you don't feel like you're just a number, then A&M-Commerce is the place. Here, you can you find an academic program that will set you up for professional success, and you can foster relationships with fellow students, staff and faculty. While you're here and once you move on, you will always feel like you're part of the Pride!

What do you like most about your career?

The “tech world” is fast-paced and pretty much in a constant state of change. As a result, it is unpredictable and never dull. That's what I like about it. I enjoy taking on new opportunities and challenges that benefit our society. Whether it is on the front lines or behind the scenes, there are countless women and men making a difference.

What is one thing that people may not know about you?

I am one of the youngest recipients of the “Best Radio Shows” award by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters. For a couple of years, I was an FM DJ/sportscaster for a small market radio station in Wheatland, Wyoming, about an hour north of Cheyenne. I hosted the morning show, but I also wanted to find ways to engage the youth. So, I created and hosted the weekly “Hip-Hop Homework” program where I would invite student leaders and student organizations to help build out and broadcast the show.
